Not a perfect fit for the new Ampeg 4B !

Built very well like all THON products. Only that my Ampeg SVT 4B does NOT fit perfectly. The case is a couple of centimeters too wide so there is some place between the front (or back) of the amp and the wall of the case. This causes the amp to wiggle a little back and forth. An extra piece of foam solves this but because the amp was listed as compatible on the product page, I expected it to fit exactly.

Heavy and sturd to keep your amp safe, great case. Only downside: there's no space to plug the speakon cables, if you want to keep the base of the case

Perfect for the Ampeg SVT-VR and SVT-CL

This flight case is very well built and lightweight, perfect for the road! It fits the Ampeg SVT-VR and Ampeg SVT-CL perfectly.

Das Case tut was es tun soll!

Es passt PERFEKT auf meinen AMPEG SVT VR.
Sogar die Griffe sind an genau der Stelle, wo auch die Griffe des Amps sind. Dadurch ist dieser Rückenbrecher beim tragen auch perfekt ausbalanciert.
Man muss allerdings darauf achten, den Deckel wirklich richtig rum draufzusetzen (Das Thon Logo nach vorne), sonst kippt das Top beim tragen die ganze Zeit nach vorne und das ist bei 40 Kilo echt unangenehm.

Das Case ist super stabil und die Polsterung ist schützt das Top optimal.
Uns ist beim Aufbau mal der Amp (samt helfendem Gitarristen) von einer 1 Meter hohen Bühne in die Tiefe gestürzt.
Unser Gitarrist ist mit ein paar Schrammen davon gekommen. Der Amp und das Case haben den Sturz nicht mal bemerkt.

Ich finde, wer 2000 Euro für ein Top ausgibt, sollte es auch entsprechend pflegen bzw. schützen.
Dafür ist dieses Case absolut empfehlenswert.
