Solid and flexible
I bought a Thon Studio Desktop Rack 4U for my small studio, and needed to house a few smaller units so went for this 2U adapter. It's made of thick steel and once fitted feels solid. There are plenty of holes to line up with whatever you need to attach, and it has an overall feel of quality. Unfortunately, one of the items I wanted to fit was the Golden Age pre 73, and it requires a dedicated rack kit (which Thomann sells), so it slides about in there. Since I already have the Roland Studio Capture taking up 2 slots, I've already used up the 4 so will need to look at buying a bigger rack if I ever get more outboard kit.

Good product, great for DIY people.
I used it to add rack tabs to amp that did not have those from factory for my home studio rack. All good, holds well. Looks great too. Good to get if you need to rack some non-standard equipment.

DIY rack unit
This is great housing for diy projects. It has thick metal housing and you can add more plates on it and do all kinds of stuff.
I like to build my own di-boxes and such so this is perfect solution for me.
