Brilliant cabinet - hides in plain sight
This is a brilliant small cabinet. I utilised it as a network cabinet in the living room for a robust home network with all the bells and whistles. The cabinet is fairly well made with plenty of flexibility in the configuration. I like the fact that you can move the mounting rails back if you’d like while assembling while still providing plenty of depth with 350mm of depth for equipment. The Oak “effect” is fairly well made and helps the cabinet to blend in with the other furniture. I’ll be putting doors on it to prevent visitors from messing with the network.
The only downside and reason for losing a star is the fact that it is still made out of chipboard which for the price I would expect to be real wood as the only thing that makes it a networking cabinet is a more specific width and the mounting rails.

Excellent budget rack that looks good
This is a good quality budget rack that also looks good. It would fit perfectly in a home or small studio, but don't expect it to hold up to rough work. It won't hold a heavy amount of equipment (amplifiers or heavy/dense modular equipment), and keep in mind that the stability comes also from the equipment mounted solidly within the rack too, so equipment must always be mounted on all four corners.
The rack rails are convenient for light equipment, allowing you to position equipment as you need, often a useful requirement to squeeze more things into the rack if you use rack shelves to hold unusually shaped devices, but the convenience comes at a further sacrifice of load carrying capacity.
The included rack bolts and plastic washers are of excellent quality, surprisingly good for a rack of this price range - usually includes washers snap or crush, but these will hold and protect your valuable equipment from scratches.
If you don't also purchase the wheel accessories, then you may want to purchase some felt-stickers to attach to the bottom of the rack to avoid the rack splitting if it is moved once loaded with equipment.
The range of finishes is nice across the whole Thon range, and the way it fits with the other Thon racks is also convenient. There are a range of accessories too, but I can only speak of the glass door and the wheels, and have left reviews on those items too.
