Works well and really keeps the head from detuning. I used to adjust the tuning after 10 practice sessions or so, but I haven't had to do that since I got these screws for a couple of months now,
The only downside is that if you like to finger-tighten the bolts, up to a certain degree in order to have a uniform and even starting point, this is no longer possible. But honestly, this is a small price to pay.
It remains to be seen if they lose their effectiveness over time.

Leider nicht ganz effektiv

Ich verwende die Schrauben für eine Ludwig Supraphonic 14x6,5", welche bekanntlich nicht sonderlich stimmstabil ist.
Diese Länge ist laut Thomann-Team passend für die Supraphonic und passt eigentlich auch, man merkt beim Stimmen deutlich mehr Widerstand als mit der originalen Schraube.
Leider bringen die Tight Screws trotzdem keine spürbare Verbesserung. Wenn ich Rimshots spiele lockert sich eine Schraube bereits nach 1-2 Minuten, nach spätestens 3 Minuten ist sie dann schon völlig locker.

Hab ich gestern auf einem 3 Std. Gig ausprobiert. Schraube hält. Einfach und gut ,aber zu teuer dafür.

Werkt geweldig! Geen last meer van los trillende schroeven.

Belangrijk: de lengte van 52mm is gemeten vanaf de onderkant van de kop van de spanbout! Meet dus even je bouten op voor je bestelt.
Veel drummers brengen bij het stemmen de bouten eerst met de vingertoppen op spanning. Door de kunststof strip draait de bout stroever en is dit niet meer mogelijk. Voor veel drummers zal dit even een aanpassing zijn.
