Very disappointing...

Triad-Orbit make some cracking stands and related accessories with really solid metal hardware that work extremely well and are going to last a lifetime.

Not sure what happened with this product - the same solid metal parts are there apart from the bit that actually holds the iPad! I wouldn't use this to hold a sandwich let alone a $1000 12" iPad. Cheap, flimsy plastic molding that won?t last 5 minutes if handled without the utmost care. This might be fine for careful home use but is certainly not a gig-worthy professional level product and is going straight back. Very disappointed - an opportunity missed for Triad-Orbit.

Finally a way of holding iPads and tablets (plus smartphones) that is secure and safe. I tested this out on a gig and it was rock solid. Now I'm going to get some more. Of course, you have to be using Triad-Orbit stands - the best decision if you want good sound.

Pros - solid build means the tablet is safe
Cons - somebody is going to go on about cost, but if you can't afford this you can't afford a tablet.

The metal parts of this are fine but the holder itself is a let down for Triad Orbit, they need to look at this and improve it. At this price it should be stronger!! It is one thing they make that is letting the brand down
