I don't see why you wouldn't own one of this. Sounds awesome, cost less than a dedicated analog pedal, and you have a full rig in a box, with looper and drum machine. AND you can load NAM captures. AND runs on batteries. The only gripe is like other users have mentioned, from the pedal interface one cannot select other drumkit than metronome, but I'm assuming this will be easily fixable with an update.
I have not tried the looper so I can't comment on that.

I was on the edge of buying the GP-5 just before this one got announced but I was concerned about depending yet another companion app, but I gotta say that the GP-50 has a well designed UI and everything is easily accessible from the onboard controls. Even if you use it as full rig on a box or multi-effect in the fx loop of an amp. Really good piece of gear.

I am assuming that the best complement for this little guy would be a Hotone Ampero II Press and a M-vave Chocolate so you can get expression pedal and extra footswitches and you still get a full rig for little less than 250 e, which seems crazy to me.

To chime on the sound quality, I have built a patch to mimic what I have with my SLO-mini and NeuralDSP SLO X, the controls are not exactly 1to1 but in the same ballpark and it sounds just as good! It's great to have options and this option is awesome!

incroyable à ce prix

Je met un commentaire car j'ai reçu cette pédale après avoir eu et revendu le GP5. Le son me convenait mais à l'usage, pour moi, c'était un peu trop contraignant (un switch, obligé d'utiliser l'appli trop souvent ...). Ici, cela règle le problème. Le son est excellent, mais surtout, c'est vraiment agréable à l'usage, on peut tout régler directement sur la pédale, les switch permettent de naviguer facilement, c'est vraiment cool, avec en plus la batterie intégrée et le Looper (mais j'ai un soucis de volume sur celui-ci pour l'instant, la boucle est beaucoup plus faible que le son direct, malgré les réglages à fond... à tester un peu plus pour donner un avis définitif ou attendre une mise à jour corrective ?). Le seul truc dommage, c'est qu'on ne peut activer de boucles de batterie sans l'application. Le bouton "batterie" n'enclenche qu'un métronome finalement, pour les rythmes, application obligatoire. Dommage ! Mais pour ce prix, rien à reprocher, c'est un outil incroyable et qui sonne !

Um die App zu nutzen, empfiehlt es sich, die App nicht aus dem AppStore, sondern bei Valeton im Downloadbereich zu saugen. Am besten die neueste Version.
Ich habe mir das Gerät eigentlich nur gekauft um Nam Captures spielen zu können. Aber das Ding kann wesentlich mehr als das! Die Effekte sind halt auch dem Preis entsprechend, aber da ich das GP50 nur zum aufnehmen nutze, kann ich auf Plugins zurückgreifen.
Man kann mit den internen Sachen aber schon sehr gute Rigs basteln. Schaut euch YouTube Videos zum Thema an. Das laden von Nam Captures ist mit der App easy. Die Windows Valeton Suite hat bei mir, bei 2 Rechnern nicht funktioniert ( Win 7,Win 8), aber bei neueren Windows Versionen sollte das gehen. Mir persönlich gefällt das Gerät besser als ein anders Gerät hier in der gleichen Preisklasse, von einem Hersteller, der auch sehr gute Gitarren baut 🙂 Habe auch Vergleichsvideos zu anderen Geräten, die mehr kosten angesehen und für mich ist das z.zt absolut ausreichend. Schauen wir mal was zukünftig mit Nam Captures und Geräten dafür passiert. Das wird noch groß und bis dahin bin ich mit dem GP50 gut versorgt. 50 Nam Captures sind schon im Gerät vorinstalliert und man kann zusätzliche 30 hinzufügen. Tolles Teil! Empfehlenswert! Cheers.
