The compact and lightweight Varytec bat.PAR V2 RGBWW is an affordable LED spotlight that brings with it an impressive range of features. With dimensions of just 25 x 25.4 x 13cm, it weighs in at just 2kg and clearly focuses on practical and mobile functionality. Wireless for maximum usability

The wireless operability of the Varytec bat.PAR V2 RGBWW is one of its outstanding features – especially in combination with other identical units. Thanks to the built-in wireless DMX transceiver (transmitter and receiver) the devices can work in a cable-free environment in master/slave mode. Programs and colours can be set on one device, and all others are automatically synchronised. The package also includes an IR remote control for quick and comfortable system configuration, and the LED spotlight provides two slots for removable rechargeable batteries, which enables a significantly extended runtime with an optionally available additional battery. The battery is first charged using the included mains adapter within the device.

Extremely versatile

Thanks to its versatility, the multicolour Varytec bat.PAR V2 RGBWW LED spotlight is aimed at professional lighting and event technicians, DJs, bands, and service providers. Thanks to its simple operation via IR remote control, the system will also fulfil the requirements of less technically inclined users, such as those in the hospitality industry. It can be used indoors for stage lighting on the red carpet, as an aisle light, backlight, or uplight. With its medium beam angle of 25°, the Flat PAR is also suitable for the atmospheric illumination e. g. of zones in clubs or on exhibition stalls. The preset automatic programs and the sound-to-light mode in turn offer a visually interesting insight into the capabilities of this lighting system, which can be integrated into the DMX setup in 2-, 3-, 8-, 12- or 16-channel mode.

Adjustable battery life

In addition to the default setting for six, eight, or 12 hours, the desired minimum battery runtime of the Varytec bat.PAR V2 RGBWW can be set to four different levels in the sub-menu. If the battery is to last for the maximum duration of around 12 hours, the maximum brightness needs to be reduced in return. Without editing via the menu, the replaceable lithium-ion battery pack lasts approximately four hours. If this runtime is not sufficient for events or basic interior lighting, an additional battery can be placed in the second slot – twice the charge means double the runtime, which should be enough with full light output. With the power supply reduced to the maximum possible extent, the spotlight can even provide light around the clock with an additional rechargeable battery.
