Primarily obtained as a lightweight option for small band practice sessions. The amp is very portable and was just about loud enough for the practice room, albeit at max volume. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality, despite the limitations inherent in playing a piano sound in mono! The amplifier does make a slight hissing sound when turned on, as mentioned in other reviews, but this is imperceptible when playing. Overall, I would highly recommend and would even consider buying a second were I a richer man.
