Good and affordable

Since I'm playing a Human Base Jonas sixstring bass, I'm always looking for good and especially affordable strings. First time I tried these strings, I thought "man they are really tough to play" and that is a common trade in all Warwick strings I tried so far. Once you play them for a while, you will get a feeling of good control and precise articulation from your instrument, based on the strings.
Generally they add some "punch" in the mid-frequencies which could be annoying if your bass already has a tendency to boost those. If you don't like the mids, just try the sound in a band context ;-)
The Jonas is my main bass and gets played a lot - the average lifetime of the strings is around 3-4 month for me.

Cheap but good sound!

I am using for a long time Warwick strings for my handmade basses!And i like very much!Cheap strings but has good slap sounds! :)

Unbeatable for the price

I use these with my warwick $$, and I play hard fingerstyle and slap- no breakage so far. Tone has mellowed out in the 4 months I've used them, but they're far from dead. Not quite as clear sounding as d'addarios, which I also use, but hey.

+great tension for fast and hard play

=doesn't go dead after two jams, but do lose their edge eventually
=sound good, not amazing, but good

-didn't quite fit my 35'' scale fretless I originally bought them for

If you need a good set of rounds for 6string and like lower tension, can't go wrong for the price.
