Ich verwende den Waves LInear Phase MB Compressor seit längerem für das Mastering meiner eigenen Songs im Homestudio. Damit zähme ich ev. noch vorhandene Peaks in den verschiedenen Bändern, so dass der nachgestellte Limiter dann ohne Probleme die Lautstärke auf die erforderlichen dB erhöhen kann. Bei mir ist das der L2 von Waves.
Die Bedienung ist nicht gerade einfach für Anfänger und daher nicht für solche zu emfehlen. Die Wahrscheinlichkeit einen Mix kaputt zu machen ist grösser als ihn zu verbessern. Es gibt jedoch genug Infos im Netz, wie man einen Mulibandkompressor einsetzt - wenn man denn unbedingt will.
Für Fortgeschrittene und Profis ist dieses Plugin sicher ein Tool der Wahl. Der Sound ist neutral.
