Make sure you get your measurements right
I bought 2 of these so that I could mount my pretty guitars to the wall. The first one went well and it only took me about 20 minutes to get the guitar on the wall. Once on the wall the guitar felt very secure. The 'slotting in' of the strap pegs takes a bit of care but once you've done it a few times it's very straightforward.
The second one didn't go as well. I wanted to hang this one in reverse so the strap peg on the horn of the guitar was on the bottom, rather than the top. First of all, when I'd installed bottom hanger and was measuring for the 'horn hanger' I got my measurements slightly off which meant the guitar was out of position. Upon adjusting it to the right level I found that it was very hard to get the pegs to fit into the hangers as there was not enough room. Secondly, the guitar dipped and kept knocking against the wall as it's weight wasn't evenly distributed. The hanger comes with foam you can attach to stop this from happening but I could still not get it to sit properly. I ended up taking this one down, and after the polyfilla has dried I plan on mounting it at the same angle as the first one.
My advice is - get your measurements right and think about playing it safe by mounting the guitar in a more 'natural' position so that its weight is evenly distributed. Overall though, I think this hanging system is great and allows your guitar to double up as the piece of art it really is.
