A very decent and reliable hihat stand from Yamaha, fits as a glove to my needs ,best quality you can find and not so expensive.For a high demanding results i choose this Yamaha product after a lot of other products i bought to my e kit , it really surprised me by its small boxand packaging but what a quality only made by those guys in Japan! They made it rock solid stand with all the benefits you can expect by them, a true masterpiece !! Very easy to use , only 2 parts and your'e done! It fits well also in small rooms for those of you who search for a little space in those tiny places.Great Product !!!

Stabiles Leichtgewicht mit drehbaren Füssen

Ich bin mit meiner Coverband häufig unterwegs. Da tut jedes Kilo Mehrgewicht weh.

Man bekommt mittlerweile für recht kleines Geld echt gute Hardware - leider ist die dann meist ziemlich schwer. Auf der Suche nach einem soliden HiHat-Ständer, der mein Hardware-Case nicht zu schwer werden lässt, bin ich bei dem Yamaha HS740 gelandet. So viel Stabilität bei so wenig Gewicht bietet IMHO sonst keiner.

Die drehbaren Füsse sind sehr praktisch und die Verstellbarkeit der Feder-Zugkraft ist bez. Komfort und Einstellbereich für mich prima passend.
Die Trittplatte läuft weich, leise und mit wenig Spiel.
Der Ständer lässt sich platzsparend zusammenlegen.

Nach mittlerweile ca. 100 Gigs damit, kann ich dem HS740 auch eine gute Haltbarkeit bescheinigen - nach wie vor leichtgängig und stabil.

Fazit: Den würde ich wieder kaufen - muss ich aber nicht, denn er wird noch lange halten :-)

J'avais un haut de gamme d'une marque concurrente, double embase, pédale sophistiqué, grosse tubulures, etc...

Et bien il répondait beaucoup moins bien que ce Yamaha d'entrée de gamme.

De plus quand on doit trimbaler du matos, il faut faire dans la légèreté !

Seul petit bémol, la molette de tension, à voir dans le temps si elle est fiable (dans les pédales de cette marque des années 80/90, il y avait une molette rotative D/G enfermée dans une cage métallique, très fiable, dommage de ne pas avoir repris ce concept...).

Globalement, la qualité de fabrication ne vaut pas le Made in Japan de l'époque, mais le fonctionnement du matériel reste optimum.

Je répond à mon propre commentaire un an apèrs achat : Le systeme de tension en plastique est tout simplement nul. Non seulement il ne se verrouille pas bien, mais dorénavant, je n'arrive même plus a le mouvoir... Je me doutais que ce serait son point faible, et bien voilà qui est vérifié un an après achat. Je ne recommande pas, moi qui suis pourtant pro Yamaha

Har sedan tidigare ett HS1200T från Yamaha som jag är mycket nöjd med. Men då man gigar mycket så blir det kilon att släpa på så för det ändamålet köpta jag ett HS740A som är betydligt lättare. Kvalitetsmässigt håller HS740A mycket hög nivå så detta stativ skulle jag rekommendera till vilken trummis som helst som vill ha valuta för pengarna. Alla önskvärda inställningsmöjligheter som man normalt använder sig av finns där. Monteras enkelt isär i enbart 2 delar. Världsklass.
