Great mouthpiece. Would recommend.

I've been using a Monette Prana TS11 S1 on a Yamaha Z custom 897Z and yesterday swapped for this Yamaha Nils Landgren piece. It's got a slim rim, a little like the Christian Lindberg, but is rounded nicely so after a while playing is no problem. The key to the mouthpiece is the depth of the cup in relation to the rim. It gives a great accuracy across the extreme ranges of my instrument; pedal notes are super secure. I've had it a week and played a gig with it last night. Super pleased and an excellent price (not all mouthpieces have to cost £300 to be any use I say). Would recommend if you are playing on a small mouthpiece but want some depth to the lower register and good broad sound. Using this with the Z1 leadpipe.

Es geht genug Luft weg und der Widerstand bleibt konstant. Ich bin begeistert. Bleibt noch zu sagen, dass ich das Mundstück auf einer nicht allzu weiten Tenorposaune spiele.

Après avoir essayé de nombreuses embouchures (Bach, Schilke, King) qui ne me convenaient pas, j'ai découvert les embouchures Yamaha. Elles sont très précises et offrent une réponse immédiate. Je jouais jusqu'à présent avec une 48 qui offre un gros son dans les graves, mais qui est plus fatigante dans des morceaux enlevés, et une 47 qui est plus facile dans les enchaînements rapides, mais qui possède des basses plus étouffées. Cette embouchure Nils Landgren est le juste milieu et me permet d'avoir à la fois une aisance dans les aigus et des notes graves bien remplies. Je trouve que le son a même plus de caractère que sur la 48! Le bord de la cuvette est plus fin que sur mes précédentes embouchures, mais on s'y fait rapidement. Comme d'habitude chez Yamaha, la qualité de fabrication est irréprochable...
