Checks every box!

I've been using it for more than a year now. Very solid build, very clean and versatile tone.
The built-in pre-amp can boost the signal without rising the noise floor, very useful for compression and distortion effect pedals, or budget audio interfaces. Electronics are adequately shielded, most conductive parts are grounded ; I literally have to play with the pickups directly in front of my computer's tower to start hearing electromagnetic interference.
I'm mainly using it as a "studio" instrument, it's plugged directly into the high-impedance input of my audio interface with the built-in pre-amp turned off. Gives me a super-dry super-clean signal that I then mangle and scramble using my DAW.
Overall no complains, sounds great, works great, feels great, (and looks great too, if that's your thing !)

Great Bang for the Buck!
Anonymous 25.06.2014
That translucent finish is so good, the feeling is smooth and warm and I really like the fact that you can see the wood inside. The black finish I have in the sunlight looks brown and I really like that! The fret edges could be a bit better. Not such a problem but you could catch your fluffy shirt sleeve. B is excellent with no buzz and it generally plays like a charm. The inlays must be mother of pearl or something they look great! Hardware and electronics work fine and look high quality. 4 star quality only for the frets.

Super!

I own this bass for about a year now and it is my main instrument. The quality of construction and materials is top notch. It provides many options for creating tones on the spot easily, I can use the same instrument for playing hard rock/ metal and also in a jazz quartet. The finish of the neck makes it very pleasant to play and the active/passive switch can be a life saver. If you are looking for high end without spending a fortune, look no further.
