Bekannte Qualität mit Überraschungen!

18 Jahre habe ich auf dem Yamah F-Horn 314, dem Vorgängermodell, gespielt und weiß daher die hohe Verarbeitungsqualität zu schätzen.
Schnurmechanik? Absolut zuverlässig zu 100%, nie nachgestellt oder repariert.
Leider nahm das Mundrohr durch das oftmalige Legen auf einen scharfkantigen Stuhl (ab sofort nur noch Hercules-Hornständer!) Schaden der schließlich in einem Riß mündete. Die Instrumentenwerkstatt meines Vertrauens (noch nicht Thomann!) verpatzte die Reparatur leider total, ersetzte das Goldmessingrohr durch ein Gelbmessingrohr und beschädigte den Anschluss dabei, so dass es nun nicht mehr brauchbar war.
Das neue VHR-314 II besticht durch einen unglaublich dichten, satten Sound in der Tiefe und in der mittleren Lage bis c2. Ab d2 ist es aber viel schwieriger zu spielen als das Vorgängermodell und verlangt viel Kraft.
Die Bohrung scheint sehr eng zu sein, die Ventile gehen anfangs wirklich streng und scheinen manchmal zu kratzen. Das spielt sich aber offenbar im Laufe der Wochen (hoffentlich!) ein, Bindungen sind aber eine Herausforderung und reißen leichter ab als bisher.
Interessant: das mitgelieferte 32C4-Mundstück ist für die Höhe wirklich viel besser als das bisher von mir verwendete 34C4. Passt es offenbar besser zur nun engeren Bohrung?
