Excellent upgrade

I have owned an original YTR-8335LA S trumpet for several years and it has served me very well. I was hesitant to consider an upgrade to the second generation but was tempted after reading reviews and hearing it played. Immediately I started playing it was very clear that I had made the right decision. It is obviously heavier and feels solid. The tone and openess of the low range is impressive. The upper range is brighter but not too shrill. It slots much more easily and dynamically feels more responsive. Reviews suggested that it requires 'more air' but I would disagree.
A week in and I am very happy with my choice. It gets better each day.
