dark and heavy
Basically, Zultans are a good budget cymbal brand and this hi-hat is no exception. These is very interesting pair of hi-hats, but be warned , they are really heavy, so although they are marketed as "jazz hihat" , they are definetely not your tipical jazz hihat. Other than that, nothing to complain.

Great, dark hats for the money!
After a search for some dark, warm 15" hihats that didn't break the bank I took a gamble on these based on the reviews.
They are amazing cymbals for 180 Euro (£160)! Lots of character, dark, woody stick definition and a good foot chick. I agree with other reviews that these are not really 'jazz' hats, they are pretty chunky when played open and can be used for louder gigs/playing.
They are not much lighter than the regular Raw hats either as far as I can tell...my jazz hats were 1100g / 1285g and I've seen the regular Raw hats listed as 1150g / 1360g.
But if you are in the market for a quality pair of dark, warm, different hihats that are kind to your wallet I'd definately recommend trying these out.
