Das Hauptargument, diese Lade zu kaufen, liegt vor allem am leichten Gewicht. Auch, wenn sie deshalb um einiges teurer ist.

Wenn man mehrere solcher Schubladen im Rack hat, und dieses Rack nicht rollen kann, sondern tragen muss (wie es bei mir der Fall ist ...), sollte man eher nicht solche aus Stahl wahlen: denn schon eine Stahl-Lade allein (ohne Inhalt) wiegt an die 5 Kilo!

Durch die Aluminium-Konstruktion verbiegt sich die Vorderkante der Lade immer ein wenig beim Offnen. Das ist nicht weiter schlimm, sondern eben der materialbedingte Kompromiss zwischen Stabilitat (Laden aus Stahl) und Gewicht (Laden aus Alu).

Ansonsten lasst sich die Lade leicht offnen, sie schliesst auch gut (viel besser als die vergleichbaren Laden von Thon, denn dort geht das Auf- und Zumachen relativ recht schwer von der Hand). Ausserdem ist diese Lade verschliessbar. Zwei Schlussel werden mitgeliefert.

Fazit: Wer eine leichte Rack-Schublade sucht, die sich problemlos offnen und schliessen lasst, ist mit diesem Modell bestens beraten.
