Excellent large windshield

Although this windshield is designed to fit the AKG 4000 series, it will also fit other large condenser microphones. I have it installed on a Rode NT-USB and it is an excellent fit - not too tight so the foam is stretched, but not too slack so it falls off when the mic is used facing down. The foam is of the same smooth appearance and quality as offered by others (such as Canford Audio's own windshields) rather than a harder/rougher feel. Together with a pop filter/screen in front of the mic, breath noise is all but eliminated. I also like the dark blue appearance, which looks up-market compared with the usual offerings of brightly coloured windshields. Remember, this is supplied by the same people who make microphones, rather than an after market item, so I can recommend it highly. Well worth the money. I wish AKG offered a slightly smaller version for the C2000 series too!

Une bonnette, taillée pour certains modèles AKG, dont le Perception 420. Donc, sans trop de surprises, ça s'emboîte parafitement sur le modèle sus-cité.
Niveau effet, ça atténue significativement les bruits d'une petite brise, voire d'un léger vent. Mais ce sera peut-être limite pour plus, donc pour certaines prises plein air, prévoir une plus grosse moumoute.

Paßt wie 'ne Eins auf mein AKG Perception 220. Das dunkelblau finde ich, ehrm, eigentlich eher etwas amüsant als nützlich, obwohl es ja zum Ton des Mikros ganz nett paßt. Aber das Mikro ist 'ne ziemliche Tonne und es war hier im UK (London) praktisch unmachbar, diesen Windschutz zu bekommen. Ich bin damit sehr zufrieden, hab ihn aber mehr zum leichten De-essen als gegen Fahrwind gekauft. Er ist klanglich sehr durchlässig, schnippselt an Obertonreihen eigentlich nur wenig herum. Ziemlich dick, aber paßgenau, wie's eben sein soll. Mit Windschutz und Service maximal zufrieden! Thanks-1M! from London.
