I prefer this jack for thinner cables to Neutrik NP2X, my reasoning is that it provides a more worry-free soldering. Neutrik is not pre-tinned and is best assembled with some really strong flux, otherwise the ground will disconnect just over time. on Amphenol the ground is fitted to a hole, so the contact is more secure. contrary to other reviewers, I'm able to put the ground through the hole, once you cut the excess, the jack will assemble nicely.
I use this jack with Mogami W2524 cable, it's exactly 6mm and fits nicely.
the downside is that jack's tip wiggles a tiny bit. and it doesn't fit cables more than 6mm in diameter, for this you need TM2PJ, which is sadly not at stock at Thomann.
update in 3 years: I've ended up breaking plastic bottoms of those more often than I'd like, so ended up getting ones with a metal baskshell (also sadly not at stock on Thomann): TM2PN. and pretty consent how they hold over the years.
