Amazing products
I switched from AVID HD I/O to Antelope Orion Studio Synergy Core.
AVID HD I/O is also a very good product, but I was surprised by the audio interface of Antelope Orion Studio Synergy Core.
It is an excellent product in terms of both quality and cost performance.
You can select the input method for microphone, line and direct input. Direct In is an input method for direct A/D conversion, I thought it would be very good to capture analog summing sound and hardware effects by direct In.
With the advent of DAW, you have more things to do, such as composing, recording, mixing, and mastering, and it answers all those needs. You won't need to replace it for at least 5 years from now.
Also worth noting is that it comes with FPGA FX. To be honest, I didn't expect much compared to waves and UAD.
But I soon realized that it was a big mistake. The quality of FPGA FX is very high, and I mainly used FPGA FX now.
Note that FPGA FX differs from ordinary plug-ins in that effects are processed in hardware, which requires cumbersome routing to make the effects work on the DAW. However, if you purchase the AFX2DAW plugin provided by Antelope separately, you will be able to use FPGA FX easily on the DAW without troublesome routing, so you should purchase the AFX2DAW.
However, since FPGA FX is only processed in hardware,offline bounce is not supported. This is a little inconvenient because it requires real-time export.
It seems that there will be more FPGA FX from third parties in the future, so I'm looking forward to it.

Great interface
I switched to Antelope Orion Studio Synergy Core from Audient iD44. I was looking for superb converters, multiple channel tracking, onboard DSP and quality plugins. In comparison to the obvious competition Antelope gives more value for the same money especially with the great special deals going on.
My expectations have been certainly met. The sound of the interface is great. The power of onboard DSPs and FPGAs is impressive. Plugins are of really high quality matching the top league.
The instalation and registration process was seamless. While waiting for a newer machine I plugged it into older 2012 Mac Book Pro via USB and everything worked with no problem including the plugins in the Control Panel.
What I don't like:
I wish the GUI of the plugins was better - resizable and scalable, with possibly more than two effects visible at once.
I would also prefer to have a physical power off button available on the device.
I wish the discounting model of the plugins was simpler and cleaner. Now I have to look at the bundles and see what combination gives the best value for the price, and it's overall the game I don't like to play.
Anyway they are the details I can easily live with and they don't change my overall very positive experience.

The Online Chat CS is Awesome
I'm a newbie in recording field and considered myself as hobbyist. I started out with Focusrite Clarett 8 and pretty impressed with it. As time goes by, I feel, it's time to upgrade to Thunderbolt audio interface and Antelope Orion Synergy Core caught my attention.
Some friends also told me, it's one of the best brand to upgrade to.
Without further ado, I took the shot and made the purchase.
Never regret of this decision, the product arrived with a free EDGE DUO mic, and sounded so impressive especially after the new firmware upgrade yesterday.
At first, I did struggle with the routing and settings because my background is totally different from technical terms. I'm a singer.
Either by calling directly or via online chat, Antelope has provided me the best customer service level that quickly resolve all the issues I was facing.
If you're looking for an upgrade, I highly recommend this Antelope Orion as your serious consideration.

Awesome ‼️
The Orion Studio is a game changer for me the class A mic pres are first class the clocking is the best I’ve experienced and the endless possibilities of routing is just one of a kind the only complaint I have being that I’ve used UAD before this one UAD is a bit easier to use starting out but in Antelope the customer service is sooooo great they log into my computer from there base and fix any problems I have and they are 24 hrs which is fantastic! So my experience with this device is awesome and the sound I get out of it especially with tracking drums in my opinion kills UAD no disrespect to them but I’m very happy! Cheers to Antelope Audio !

Orion Studio Synergy Core
I bought this interface for my small studio, where I record and edit drums for various clients, all by myself.
I couldn't be happier with the quality of the device! I feel like I'm reborn!
I had some "routing issues" in the beginning, but I contacted the client support, and they've been insanely patient and kind to me! They've been answering every single question or doubt I had, in the most professional way possible. I couldn't be happier!!
I also got 5 mics included with the October Promo, and they're AWESOME, not to talk about the FX-emu they included with the Orion. At this price, this is just insane. Buy it and you won't regret it!!

Once it's set up it's golden
The preamps are great and the converters are at such a high level I felt like I was listening to music for the firstt time all over again.
However, the inital setup process can take a long time, not just in terms of downloads and drivers but getting my mac studio to recognise the device. It really isn't a plug & play interface and requires a not inconsiderable amount of research to even have it be recognised by my system.
Once it did get up and running though, the built-in patch bay also took time to work my head around.
It very much is a system that sounds incredible and is loaded with functionality but your first day with it might not go how you'd hope.

Great sound! really top notch audio quality from antelope. Amazing dynamics from the audio outputs!
At start I had a little bit of trouble with the drivers (windows user here), but after installing the latest version of the drivers, it's been running smooth.
The internal routing in this thing massive. Which means it has a routing matrix that's more complex than the average audio interface. But it gives you many more options for integrating onboard AFX (dsp effects), mic emulations, and outboard gear, and routing these however you want.
One major plus for me, as a PC user, it is USB and thunderbolt compatible!

Brilliant sound
Great audio interface , easy enough to get use to, hardware plugs on edge duo and the rest are very good, latency is non existent, very good on usb and thunderbolt , very stable , very flexible compared to the competition, you can even bypass the preamp stage if you want and go straight to the converter. What more could a guitar ask for . Sound is pristine and quiet and you can color to your hearts content with all the eq's and preamps etc. and at the same time have a straight thru raw sound on another channel. I'm on win 10 pro , gigabyte z490vision d board.

Le "cœur battant" du Home Studio
Pour moi, cette interface audio était (et reste) est une évidence !
Fiable, efficace, souple, facile d'emploi (une fois la courbe d'apprentissage franchie). Je recommande pour celui qui prend l'affaire au sérieux, mais sans vouloir se prendre la tête !
