Great for vintage drums

I have a late 50’s/early 60’s kit and this is the only head large enough to fit the slightly over sized Tom. Ambassadors, Calftone and even the Aquarian Modern vintage would not fit.
This has good contact with the bearing edge and sounds great

Alle, die eine ältere, leicht überdimensionierte Snare ihr Eigen nennen, kennen das Problem: Die klassischen Felle der beiden bekannten großen Hersteller müssen mit "Gewalt" auf den Kessel gedrückt, geschlagen, gesonstwas werden. Das Fell sitzt sehr stramm und ist daher auch sofort höher gestimmt. Das Vintage-Fell vereinfacht das Aufziehen und ermöglicht einen größenen Stimmumfang.
Mit dem Sound bin ich sehr zufrieden, die Verarbeitung ist gut. Das Coating könnte für einen Auch-Besenspieler etwas kräftiger sein.

Auf jeden Fall eine gute Empfehlung!
