Der Sound des Mundstücks ist hervoragend. Vll die Bohnrung ein wenig zu klein - das liegt aber daran, dass ich es gewöhnt bin große Bohrungen zu spielen. Man erreicht die Höhe mühelos und hat trotzdem eine gut klingende Tiefe. Habs sogar auf einem Bariton (mit Adapter) probiert :) geht gut! Ein Mundstück für den Allrounder und sehr, sehr, sehr...... preiswert. Da verkauft sich keiner.
Danke an Thomann für das uneigennützige Mundstücktesten lassen.

Ich habe mir dieses Mundstück gekauft, weil mir die Firma Stölzel seit langem als traditionsreicher Mundstückhersteller bekannt ist.

Bei Billiganbietern bekommt man oft Mundstücke die nicht einwandfrei gebohrt sind und dann wird das Bilden von Tönen manchmal zum Glücksspiel. Also lieber ein bisschen tiefer in die Tasche greifen und ein Mundstück kaufen, mit dem das Muszieren auch Spaß macht und mühelos vom Mund geht.

Ich habe das Mundstück nicht für mich sondern für einen Bekannten gekauft. Er fängt nach 25 Jahren Pause wieder an Tenorhorn zu spielen. Seine Lippen sind sehr dünn, sodass ich ihm kein "normales" Mundstück für Tenorhorn empfahl.

Dieses Mundstück passt Ihm sehr gut, da es für Ihn bequem ist und er ein angenehmes Spielgefühl darauf hat. Beim gemeinsamen musizieren stelle ich bereits nach kurzer Zeit fest, dass es Ihm deutlich leichter fällt die Töne zu kontrollieren und sauber zu treffen. Der Klang ist zwar nicht 100%ig das was man sich unter einem typischen Tenorhornklang vorstellt, dennoch kann er ohne Probleme in unserem Ensemble mitwirken.

Das Mundtück ist gut verarbeitet und besonders als Anfänger/Wiedereinsteiger-Mundstück sehr gut geeignet. Für das weitere musizieren ist es nicht besonders zu empfehlen, da der Sound nicht besonders gut ist.
