Using it with Pro Tools
Works quite well with PT. However, many buttons and the big wheel has no use with PT at all. You may want to consider Faderport V2...

The best controller on budget for Logic Pro X
I've tested the unit using many different DAW, but it gives his best paired to Logic Pro X, because you can straightly control the selected channel without having to bank between groups of 8 channels like in Cubase or Ableton. If Cubase or Ableton is your DAW, I suggest to search for something else.

Nice, but not for me
Its a very nice controller with loads of functionality for a decent price. The basic mcu mapping ableton works cool, but switching channels becomes tedious whenever you want to go to a channel in a different bank, the controller does not automatically follow and manual bank switching is required. For me this was a dealbreaker and reason to return it. Not sure if behringer can fix this with mapping or if its an ableton thing.

Does what it says on the box
I purchased this mainly for drawing automation, works well and I find myself using other features. a proper manual would be helpful, but behringer don't really do this.

Simpel small DAW controller
It looks nice, it feels nice and it does what I expect it to do.
I have to be honest, I don't know everything about the unit and didn't even use all it's functions.
But so far it works good and does what I need it to do.
I work in Cubase and it's a huge time-saver for me.
One really important note though.
There is no on/off switch.
Wich means, untill you unplugg the power, it will stay on, eventhough everything else is shut down.
But there's a solution I use and it works great.
A LED light strip Toggle switch dc power adapter connector.
You put this between the powercord and the unit so you can turn the unit on and off without constantly having to pull out the powercord.
Just saying because it seems to come as a surprise to a lot off people.
It came as a suprise to me.
Otherwise I'm really happy with the unit.

Good Quality Product
Links up very well with Logic Pro and my computer. Decent bit of kit for the price of the control surface. Would definitely recommend to other producers.

Great controller for its price
Perfectly works with Cubase, especially after upgrading the firmware from 1.04 to 1.07. Considering the price it has all in place that could be required to facilitate mixing tasks drastically. Quality of the components (i.e. its fader) corresponds to the price - everything is made of plastic with the corresponding tactile perception. There is no miracle here. I've bought it as a temporary solution till I get Steinberg CC121. But anyway it works just fine and helps me a lot with the writing track automation and controlling mixing process.

Studio One user
As a studio one user this works very good. All buttons are functioning properly and some can be even re-assign to what you need. Build quality is awasome although the unit does not sit very straight on my desk but that is the minimum.
Highly recomended for those who are recording at home and will help your workflow. Not recomended for mixing.

Behringer X-TOUCH ONE
For the price it is exceptionally good! You should evaluate the 8 channel big brother, because after a while you'll love the possibility to avoid the mouse to mix and the real slider. If you mix a lot you'll miss the 8 or more channels. If you compose and adjust effects all the time... perhaps this control surface devices are not for you. This model offer you a lot for the price, very good value. The joggle possibility is nice. The slider looks cheap but it does the job. If you are fare from the keyboard and you wants to record your instrument / voice you can operate with a long usb cable from a remote position (I tried with 8 meter good quality usb cable and it is ok)
