Vorab: Für mich geht’s um den Sound in meinem Wohnzimmer meist bei high gain in einer 1x12 Box. Also mal mikrofoniert habe ich gar nichts. Ich habe einen Vintage30 durch den Hempback ersetzt, da ich weniger harsche Höhen wünschte. Tatsächlich hat sich das Problem mit dem Tausch auch erledigt. Darüber hinaus habe ich tatsächlich keinen großen Unterschied festgestellt. Der Hempback kommt bei high gain und auch tiefer Stimmung sehr tight daher. Aber auch warm, was ich bei meinen dichten high gain Einstellungen sehr schätze.

Auf jeden Fall auch für die Metal (und Stoner/Nein nicht wegen Hanf, sondern wegen heftiger Fuzz Sounds) Fraktion einen Versuch wert. Ich behalte ihn. Er ist auch sehr leicht, was bei einem Upgrade einer größeren Box dann auch Erleichterung mit sich bringt.

Aktuell habe ich die 1x12 mit dem Hempback durch eine weitere 1x12 mit einem Swamp Thang ergänzt. Die kommen richtig gut zusammen.
