Sounded very nice, played on a £200 Gretsch Uke and were a huge improvement on the stocks it came with (Pyramids, I believe)

Very dark tone, better for fingerpicking than strumming play, although it's mostly down to personal preference they're certainly not as bright as Aquila standard nylguts. Silver wound C string adds to the tone depth and gives the strings a nice feel.

Quality was astounding, as should be expected, they held tune for 3 months before I changed them, and showed no signs of wear however they will only string your ukulele once as they're not long enough to do so twice, hence only 4 stars for quality, but I feel that's a rather harsh deduction but necessary.

I would certainly recommend these strings

Noch ein kleiner Tipp für Sopranukulisten: Mangels Sopransaiten hatte ich einmal eine Sopran bestückt - auch da klingen sie gut und wenn man sparsam knotet, reicht ein Satz für zwei Sopran-Ukulelen aus.
