Saiten mit außergewöhnlichen Klangeigenschaften

Die Kaplan Amo-Saiten habe ich mir in "heavy tension" bestellt, um bei einem Istrument aus dem frühen 18. Jahrhundert mit sehr hoher Deckenwölbung (vorher mit Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Gold medium besaitet) die Klangeigenschaften auszubalancieren. Dem Instrument fehlte es an Tiefe und insgesamt war mir der Klang zu hell.
Nach kurzer Einspielzeit bin ich nun sehr zufrieden. Die tiefen Frequenzanteile haben sich erhöht. Insgesamt ist der Klang voller und kraftvoller geworden und die "Nachschwing-Zeit" der Saiten ist momentan sogar noch länger als bei den Evah Pirazzi-Saiten!
Lediglich die Ansprache ist etwas schlechter geworden.

Die D-Saite hatte eine kleine "Macke": Außen haftete irgend eine Art Kunststoff an. Allerdings nur so gering, dass es mir erst nach kurzer Zeit überhaupt auffiehl. Da die Umspinnung darunter in Ordnung ist und im Klang alles zu stimmen scheint, behalte ich die Saite trotzdem und gebe in der Verarbeitung 4 von 5 Sternen.
