My favourit strings after Elixir.

These are by far my favourite Daddario's, I thought their XS strings sounded slightly better than these, but I did not like the feel of them. I think these 11/52's bring out some lovely undertones on a full scale dreadnought, and their 12/53's give my parlour plenty of punch.

Auf meine preiswerte Westerngitarre habe ich erstmals 11er Saiten aufgezogen, um beim Travis-Picking agiler spielen zu können (habe vorher immer 12er von Daddario - meist für Strumming - verwendet).

Die 11er klingen ganz okay - eine Offenbarung sind sie jetzt nicht.
Die Saitenlage verändert sich etwas (bei mir zum Negativen - die Halskrümmung müsste man wohl nachstellen).
Außerdem "quietschen" die 11er beim Griffwechsel nach meinem Empfinden mehr und die Finger der Greifhand müffeln metallisch schon nach kurzem Spiel - also vermutlich findet mehr Abrieb statt.

Da sie insgesamt aber keinesfalls schlecht und gewohnt gut verarbeitet und robust beim Aufziehen sind, gebe ich trotzdem insgesamt 4 Sterne.
