Ich benutzte den Dämpfer für ein York Baritonhorn
zum Üben. Ansprache und Stimmung sind einwandfrei,
Dämpfungseffekt ist sehr gut und der Klang ist über
den gesamten Tonbereich gleichbleibend, auch in der
Tiefe. Dämpfer ist größer als erwartet und ragt mit der
Kugel aus dem Schallbecher heraus.
Bei einigen Tönen gab es geringe Resonanzen (des,ges,as,)
das habe ich durch das Aufkleben einer Filzscheibe
aus 2mm schwarzem, selbstklebendem Filz auf den Boden beseitigt. ( gibt es im Baumarkt als Möbelgleiter),
Dabei müssen die beiden Löcher aber offen bleiben.
Der Klang ist dadurch insgesamt noch leiser und trockner
geworden, was ich als noch besser empfinde.
Dämpfer ist sehr leicht und passt einwandfrei.
Es macht Spaß, endlich zu jeder Zeit üben zu können
ohne die Nachbarn zu stören.
