Bought this because somebody wrote in his rating: "for bell diameter up to 26cm". Well, my horn is, but the mute is far too big, keeps falling out. Seems to be more for baritone horn or euphonium. But I'll keep it - I built something to keep it in place with some rubber bands. Soundwise good, perfect pitch and intonation through all the registers.

Very fast shipment! From Europe to Seattle, the mute arrived five days after I ordered it. The mute works nicely and fits perfectly into my oval/rotor tenor horn. I was concerned that it might not fit because I did not see any dimensions listed with the product's description.

Logisch dass der Klang aus einem Übungsdämpfer nicht gut ist. In den unteren Bereichen lässt die Stimmung nach, muss man mehr korrigieren. Aber umso schöner klingt es, wenn der Dämpfer wieder runter kann. Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Der Dämpfer könnte etwas leichter sein, mein einziges Anliegen.

Klar, das Spiel mit einem Dämpfer klingt anders als ohne. Dieses Model liegt jedoch nah am Original-Klang.
