Analogue power mixer – digital extras
The Dynacord Powermate 1000-3 is an analogue mixer with a built-in amplifier, designed to reliably send a complex mix to high-powered speakers in larger venues. Combining a generous selection of inputs and outputs with straightforward operation, the mixer is easy to integrate into a wide range of live setups, while its low weight ensures convenient handling. Two built-in effects engines provide a variety of sound-shaping options, and the onboard equaliser allows for flexible adjustments. The high-quality components contribute to its durability and predictable performance – a confidence that is also reflected in Dynacord's own three-year warranty. A USB interface, the Cubase recording software suite, and a MIDI interface offer additional benefits – such as multitrack recording, or the integration of MIDI keyboards into the live sound.

Power mixer for large speakers
The Dynacord Powermate 1000-3 provides ten inputs and six outputs for connecting various audio sources. It features two built-in effects, which can be edited and saved, enabling settings such as reverb to be quickly recalled after startup. The USB 2.0 interface for PC or Mac functions as both an input and an output, each with four channels, and a Cubase LE licence for recording comes included. In this configuration, the mixer can replace a separate sound card during recording, and MIDI data from a keyboard can be sent to a computer via the mixer and returned via one of the two USB stereo channels. Including the lid, the unit weighs 14 kg, and optional accessories such as rack-mounting kits, a gooseneck lamp, and a footswitch are available.
Every genre in almost every venue
Featuring an integrated power amplifier, the Dynacord Powermate 1000-3 is designed for medium to large spaces such as school halls or live music venues. Delivering 2 × 1000 watts RMS into a 4-ohm load, the amplifier can also drive up to three 8-ohm speakers in parallel per channel, providing ample power for a variety of setups. It can also be used with existing active front-of-house speakers while amplifying passive monitors, by routing the power amplifier either before the main mix or via the monitor outputs on the patch panel. With its familiar layout of faders and controls, the user interface provides a clear and intuitive experience for anyone familiar with analogue mixing desks, easily allowing levels and effects to be adjusted during live performances.

From the first rehearsals to the graduation ball
How did I do it last year? A question that many people who only occasionally have to manage PA are familiar with! When the job has to be done quickly and professionally, a familiar user interface makes all the difference. At a school graduation ceremony, for example, the Powermate 1000-3 functions both as a mixing desk and a fully-fledged power amp. If, during the soundcheck, it transpires that the 11-band equaliser is needed on the monitor rather than the main mix to avoid feedback, it can be easily reconfigured. MCs conducting a band and compering the event at the same time will appreciate the footswitch (sold seperately), which allows them to switch off the two effects engines during introductions. And everyone involved will be glad of the USB interface, which makes it easy to record the proceedings as a keepsake.
