- Handmade by master luthier Marco Dotti in the workshop of Edgar Russ in Cremona, modelled on The Betts by Antonio Stradivari from 1704
- Top made of typically Italian spalted hazel spruce from the Val di Fiemme
- Back made of flamed Bosnian sycamore maple, air-dried
- Sides and neck made from the same wood as the back
- Fingerboard made from finest ebony
- The instrument was varnished in the manner of the great Cremonese masters of the 17th century - this includes: a wood primer based on casein and calcium, an amber linseed oil varnish cooked by Edgar Russ himself and coloured with pigments to give the instrument a faithful reproduction of the original
- Bridge: Aubert De Luxe
- Pegs and tailpiece: Boxwood with a fine tuner
- Endpin: Boxwood
- Chinrest: Small lateral model "Dresden" with titanium screws
- Strings: Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Gold
