Eich Amplification T500 Black Edition

Very pleased with the T500. Have yet to use at loud volume with a band, so these thoughts relate to home use only.
Easy to dial a good sound - start with all controls (except master!) at the vertical detent - at this setting, the few different basses I own have honestly all never sounded so good or inspiring- the clarity brings out the quality of each individual instrument, then just a small tweak to emphasise or tame a frequency here and there. I started with larger tweaks then always went back close to the vertical. I like a little extra bass or low mid sometimes, and the 'taste' control is very appealing if you want to be less crisp and more 'vintage'.
The range of the input gain is well chosen and copes with everything from boosted active to a quiet passive bass easily. The frequencies of the tone knobs are all where you would hope them to be - everything has a precise and musical feel, and easy to return to your favourite settings with this 4 knob set up - looking forward to recording through this amp.
I like the ULTRA quiet fan too.
Before purchase I was unsure whether to go for an amp with no tubes - now I may never go back to valves for bass - also haven't felt the need for a compressor so far, and the small size and no weight is just a bonus - very much the sound of your bass and your playing, thank you.

Ich habe in meinem Bassistenleben schon eine Menge Verstärker gespielt, Ampeg, Gallien Krueger, Hughes&Kettner etc.
Aber der Eich ist der absolute Knaller! Super verarbeitet, leistungsstark und trotzdem leicht. Der Sound ist rund, warm und kräftig, und zusammen mit der Eich 1x12" Box klingt er sowohl mit einem Fender Precision als auch einem Kontrabass (mit Schertler Pickup und Preamp) sofort gut. Die Klangregelung wirkt dezent und auf genau den richtigen Frequenzen.
Eigentlich habe ich mir den Amp für die E-Bass-Verstärkung zugelegt, aber er klingt auch mit dem Kontrabass super, viel besser als mein Akustik-Amp.
Der Taste-Regler bietet eine Menge Variationsmöglichkeiten und klingt über den gesamten Regelweg gut. Und die Magnethalterung auf der Box ist eine super Idee!
Also: unbedingt antesten.
Und einen Sonderpreis für die Black Edition gabs auch noch, weil das Standardmodell nicht lieferbar war. Danke liebes Thomann-Team!

Klein, leicht, leistungsstark und auf das Wesentliche reduziert.
Den EQ brauch man nicht wirklich anfassen (je nach Raum) - den Wunschsound bekommt man eigentlich direkt mit dem Tasteregler.

Anschlussmöglichkeiten passen - und das man den DI-Out wahlweise pre EQ stellen kann, freut auch bei Bedarf den Tontechniker.
Der Mutebutton ist auch ein gern gesehenes Feature.

Kopfhörer und AUX-In bringen dann auch auf dem Hotelzimmer Laune.
Die Magnete zusammen mit den EICH sind ebenfalls ein tolles Feature.
Lüfter ist leise, kein Brummen ohne Signal oder mit.

Preislich zwar hoch angesiedelt - aber irgendwo auch wert. Nirgends bekam ich schneller meinen Wunschsound eingestellt.

Zesilovač Eich T500 používám v kombinaci s reproboxem Eich 115XS, což je opravdu skvělá kombinace. V přímém srovnání s jiným zesilovačem nižší střední třídy vyniká zcela čistý zvuk zesilovače Eich. Z produktových videí jsem odvodil, že speciální ovladač Taste nebude reálně moc použitelný, ale shledávám ho naopak skutečně užitečným. Korekce ekvalizéru jsou velmi dobře naladěny a jsou skutečně účinné, a to především ve středech a basech (30, 250, 800 Hz). Výšky jsou naladěny poměrně vysoko (8 kHz), ale i to perfektně vyhovuje charakteru mých nástrojů. Ani přidání výšek na maximum nepřináší téměř žádný šum. Velmi užitečná je také možnost přepnutí Pre/Post pro D.I. výstup. K dispozici jsou, kromě výstupu pro reproduktor, další tři výstupy (Line Out, Aux Send, Tuner). Poněkud nezvyklé je to, že všechny výstupy s výjimkou D.I. Pre jsou zapojeny za korekcemi, takže se v nich projevuje nastavení ekvalizéru i ovladače Taste (včetně výstupu Tuner), výstup Line Out dokonce reaguje i na master volume. To mě trochu překvapilo, ale nehodnotím to jako negativum.
Skvělá je také praktičnost použití daná především menšími rozměry, nízkou hmotností (1,49 kg) a také tím, že zesilovač pomocí magnetů pevně drží na reproboxu Eich 115XS, který tak lze např. naklopit i s na něm položeným zesilovačem.
Zesilovač je v tom, co dělá, nekompromisní a na první pohled i poslech kvalitně postavený. Cena tomu, podle mě, odpovídá.
