Nice for dulcimers

I used this string to replace a broken wound D on my mountain dulcimer. It works nicely and I prefer the sound to the wound string in the Daddario dulcimer set, although it squeaks a bit more.

Expensive for a single string, but serves a purpose

5.5e is a lot for a single string, but on the other side, elixir strings last very long and THAT g string is prone to breaking for me. So it's less expensive sometimes to spend 5.5e for a single string instead of buying the whole set.

Die Elixier-Phosphor-Saiten selber haben schon einige gute Bewertungen bekommen. Da bin ich dabei, sonst würde ich auch keine Ersatzsaite bestellen. :-)
Positiv ist, daß es die Saite auch einzeln gibt, wenn man - wie ich in diesem Fall - beim Aufziehen die richtige Stimmung übersieht und die neue Saite gleich wieder reißt.
Negativ ist allerdings, daß die Saite einzeln nicht nur ein bißchen, sondern wirklich unverhältnismäßig teurer sind als im ganzen Satz.
Aber was hilft?s, wenn man nur eine braucht.
