Für Menschen die den Klang beschichteter Saiten mögen bzw., die Haltbarkeit und Langlebigkeit dem letzten brillianten SoundKniff vorziehen sind Elixier Saiten generell zu empfehlen. Ich nutze diesen Satz speziell um meine Taylor Bariton Gitarre auf Half-Nashville Tuning zu stimmen (Pat Metheny lässt grüßen) und stimme sie runter auf A.

Parfait pour guitare 8 cordes baritone accordées en SI ou en LA

Utilisation avec une Taylor 8 cordes baritone. Très satisfaisant en terme de qualité, longévité (Elixir). Heureusement que ce type de jeu de corde existe pour des guitares aussi particulières.
Pour un accordage en SI ou LA standard, c'est top. Je suis passé en SOL : je remplace juste la corde grave (.70) par une corde de basse acoustique de la même marque en (.80) et c'est parfait !
Seul point négatif, la qualité à un prix...

Durch die Beschichtung sind die Saiten dermaßen glatt, dass keinerlei Reibung mehr am Pin-Loch am Sattel ist.
Kaum kommt etwas mehr Spannung auf die Basssaiten des Satzes werden die Pins mit dem Ball-End der Saiten wieder aus den Pinlöchern gezogen.
Die Basssaiten sind derart dick und starr, dass ich weder einen zusätzlichen Knoten oberhalb des Ballends machen kann, noch die Saite so ins Loch stecken, dass das Ball-End nicht mehr unterhalb des Pinendes sitzt.
Ich habe es mit einem anderen Satz von Pins probiert.
Chancenlos!
Immer das selbe Resultat:
Bei Eröhung der Saitenspannung ziehen die Basssiten mit ihren Ball-Ends die Pins wieder aus den Löchern!

Es gibt bei Thomann keinen anderen Saitensatz mehr zur Auswahl!
Was tun????

Anmerkung: Ich habe zu einem früheren Zeitpunkt, wo es noch Martin-Strings dafür zur Auswahl gab bereits mehrmals erfolgreich den Saitensatz meiner Stanford 8-String Baritone Akustikgitarre gewechselt!
