Not for all Stratocaster guitar models
This case has an excellent construction quality at a reasonable price, considering other alternatives in the market.
I bought it because the case description says "For ST/T-style guitars".
Well... not for my stratocaster model...!!!
I have a SQUIER Stratocaster Vintage Modified and this Gator GC-ELEC-XL case did not fit correctly to my guitar.
The body space is great. In fact,it is perfect, because it is completely adjusted to the body, so it it doesn't moves.
But the neck support is longer than the guitar neck. That means the headstock rests in the top end of the neck support. That makes impossible to close the case without forcing the guitar neck, which is not a good idea.
I recommend especial attention to this detail, because being Squier a Fender brand, and being Fender the original standard of Stratocaster guitar type, I can imagine a lot of issues with Strat guitar types of the other brands.
I will have to return this case, or I have to make some adaptation works so it can fits my guitar. And probably I would make those adaptation, because the rest of the case details and quality are just great.

Does the job well!
My first hard case, so I can't compare it with anything else.
After using it for a while, it seems durable and practical.
Thank you, Thomann, for helping me with choosing a right case for my 28" inch scale baritone guitar!

Extended scale guitar case - OK if you are not too demanding
I use this case for a 30" OLP mm5 guitar (copy or the MusicMan Silhouette Basse), as it does not fit in a regular case. It is an entry-priced case, does the job without feeling as sturdy as the o!der Gator cases used to feel. The counterpart is the light weight. The neck support is good, which does not leave tons of space for accessories. I'm happy with it but more demanding users may find it a bit expensive for the overall quality.

Keep your guitar safe!
I got this case for my Ibanez RGA8 and it fits in tight and nice! I always store my guitars whenever they are not being played and I carry them around with me a lot. The guitar still looks untouched because of the protection the case provides.
The only complaint would be one of the locks loosening really quickly.

Good bang for the buck!
I needed a case for my Charvel So-Cal, which unfortunately come without cases these days.
I don't trust gig bags, so I needed to find a case that I can use to store the guitar safely and get it to band practice and gigs without breaking it.
After a bit of research I decided to go with this Gator case:
It's built quite well and it smells great. There is no nasty smell of glue or anything like that. In fact mine had a pleasant pine smell. The case is stable. There is no rattling or warping and it fits the strat shape nicely. If anything it could be a bit smaller for the shape. There is loads of room for the headstock (you could easily fit a large dean fork headstock in there), but I guess it's not labeled XL for nothing. In spite of the extra space, it secures the Charvel nicely. When the lid is closed, the guitar isn't moving anywhere!
If I were to fly with the guitar, I'd definitely get a better case, but for what I bought it for in the first place, it's a great bang for the buck.

Great Case
For the price, probably the best case you can find.
Pretty sturdy and durable. The lockers feel kind of slanky but work without problems. The ribbon that holds the two pieces of the case is prone to breaking off, but that's the least important part anyway, and cases don't usually come with one.
Overall, it's a great case and will probably protect my guitar from any damages it may encounter. Also smells nice
It fits my Jackson 7 string guitar (26.5" scale) perfectly

Nice and light
It is very easy to live with. It feels very sturdy and I never worry about my Strat anymore but it's still light so it doesn't break my back when I have to carry it around.

Decent case for the money
I've had this case for about a year now and its put up with a few gigs admirably, nice finish on the inside, plenty of room for most guitars I'd say, plus its not too heavy. I'm not sure how it would stack up to some of the more expensive hard cases but it definitely provides all the protection I need for my guitar. I've been trusting this case with my Ibanez and it hasn't let me down.
One thing to mention is the buckles sometimes don't close properly and you have to manoeuvre the case around to get it to fall into place. A bit annoying but it isn't a huge problem.
All in all a pretty solid case for a decent price.

Gator Guitar Case
I would say its one of the best price/quality cases out there
It doesn't have fancy features but does the job it is supposed to... been on the Road with the case for 6 months now,
happy with the results and I can sleep while on the van without having to check my guitar every now and them,
very good case to be on the road
