A
Fantastic clamp for percussion
Animale 13.08.2020
I have searched a long time for this, it was almost non-existent in Europe, so I asked Thomann if they could bring it over, and they put it in their range!

That means they also saw the potential of this.
It's build like a tank, it fits around a thick hi-hat stand and you can position this more versatile than you would think just by looking at it. EVerything turns.

Brilliant for percussion mounts. Not only does it have 2 rods, they're fairly long too. Which means you can put all kinds of cool stuff on it.

Fyi: you can't move the 2 rods independently. It's one piece, a giant U-shape.

Update: I originaly bought this to mount 2 Roland BT-1 bars on it, but that proved to be tricky if you mount it on any drum hardware that passes on vibrations: the BT-1's are just too sensitive for vibrations, and since the rod is once piece, the hit on one BT-1 will always affect the other...too much. Which means you'll trigger the other one as well.
For mounting sensitive triggers like the BT-1 on clamps for live purposes, in my experience it will only work if clamp it on a dedicated stand apart from the drums, or find another solution.
I'll use it for my cowbells now.

Platzsparende Klammer für 2 Instrumente
K.O.H. 15.06.2020
