I had been looking to replace the existing gold covers on a Les Paul studio as the gold had worn off around the edges. It is worth noting that the pole spacing on the bridge pick up differs from the neck and cheaper alternatives will not often fit the bridge properly. This is a genuine Gibson item, and not only did it fit the bridge pickup perfectly, but the quality of the material and finish matched the existing hardware perfectly. Again, cheaper alternatives may not match as well as this does. Very pleased with final look.

Expensive.

I bought this as many cheaper alternatives do not fit. You could spend the rest of your life trying to find a good fitting one that buying this saves all of the time and trouble - you also end up with an original part that looks right too. It is just a lot of money to pay,

Perfect fit for 490r and 490t pickups, maybe too expensive.

Pièce Gibson de qualité
Julien808 10.06.2011
