Very good value for the money, but..!
Tommy T 23.10.2020
I do my research well enough before buying anything, so there won't be too many surprises.
I bought this one because I needed a new desk for my computer, and I dabble in audio on a hobby basis. The description was accurate, the build was easy (esp. if you know your way around that world famous flat packed furniture), and the packaging was as expected - no damaged parts.
But when I started using it i found the edges on the front aren't rolled off or rounded at all. I often sit in front of my computer in a t-shirt, and that makes the hard edge quite noticeable after a little while. I also tilt back in my chair quite a lot, which means the hard edge on the piano drawer is almost as noticeable.
Would I have bought something else if I knew this? Nope. The one star deduction is for those hard edges only. Overall the desk does its job and is well worth the money, and now I have a few free rack spaces for future units!

b
Great for home studio use
bkrnetic 29.11.2019
The desk is really practical and let's you organize your equipment easily. As for the shipping, it arrived pretty fast with no additional costs as someone wrote down below.

The drawer is not the most solid drawer you will come across, but it is smooth and serves the purpose for the studio desk of this price just right. It looks really nice and fits any room cosmetically, though it arrived with 1-2 slight discolorations but I don't mind, it's hardly visible.

Basically the only thing I wish it was different is the depth (or height? - you will get it from the context) of the lower shelf and the drawer. My Arturia Keylab 61 MKII fits nicely onto the drawer in terms of width, but I cannot access drum pads unless I put that side of key board more closer to me. That being said, one part of keyboard doesn't rest on the drawer. However, if you don't use drum pads often, this probably won't be an issue.

As for the lower shelf, it can fit 13" laptops but not 15" or bigger in a sense that you can place it on the shelf but you won't be able to push your screen more than 90° while 100°-105° is the most natural angle for working at the desk, if you ask me.

Adding only ~10cm to the depth/height of the drawer and lower shelf would fix these issues.

Other than these 2 things mentioned, the desk really serves the purpose and I would definitely recommend it!

Does what it is supposed to do
StergiosCozy 14.01.2019
I have the desk for about a week now and used it quite a lot for the time that I have it. First of all it was not too easy, not to hard to build it. Took me quite a lot of time (more than 2 hours) since the one piece of paper manual has only 6 small pictures as instructions but then again I did it alone and I don't have much experience about setting up desks so someone who has done it before or has some help might do it easier and faster. The desk looks amazing and has a lot of space for gear. The drawer doesn't seem too bad but I haven't used anything heavy since my keystation pro 88 is extremely big and doesn't fit there but it seems that it can easily hold any 61 keys synth without any problem. The rotating shelves for the speakers are great. One thing that troubled me quite a lot was how to mount my gear on the racks. Once you build the desk and place the upper shelf there is no way to screw anything inside the racks because the screws simply dont fit in the racks. You have to place the screws in the racks before the upper shelf is in place in order to mount your gear. That's not a problem if you have everything but if you are like me and always improving your gear that means that every time you buy something new you have to get your monitor and speakers down, unscrew the upper shelf to take it out, mount your gear and then put them all up again. That is the only con i could find in the desk since in everything else (and in looks) it is amazing.

Le
Not too bad!
L. e. 17.06.2021
This desk is not too bad at all. Here are my thoughts on it:

Pro's:
- The price is lower than a lot of other desks
- Fairly easy to assemble (took just over an hour on my own)
- Nice and sturdy feeling desk
- doesn't take up a huge amount of space

Cons:
- It comes in 2 boxes, which encourages incompetent postal services to deliver them on different days.
- The keyboard tray doesn't quite pull out far enough to reach all the params on my keyboard
- The keyboard tray is just a touch too short to fit most 88 key keyboards, so had to use a 61 key
- The desk is flush with the side panels, so there's nowhere to clip a headphone clam or desktop boom arm

Overall i'm very happy with the desk, despite the drawbacks. When taking the price into consideration, this was a great purchase.

Ai
Well built and easy to assemble, but hard to fit FX units in racks
Alan in Reality 03.02.2018
Arrived really quickly and was easy to assemble (providing you laid all the parts out and actually read the instructions). Good quality finish and very sturdy. My only grip is that the rack unit mounting strips are odd rail format rather than the standard mounting strips, making it very difficult to slot rack units in as you can't use standard locking screws. They only include 4 screws per side, meaning unless you buy more screws you can only mount 2 x 2U rack modules on each side. If you wanted to mount 4 x 1U units, unless you have all 4 and commit to the layout of units when you assemble the unit, you would need to take the top of the unit off to add in extra screws. Not easy when part of the top is fixed by glue and dowling pegs! The design is such that you can't simple substitute standard mounting strips. A very poor design decision on the part of Glorious and clearly not thought through from the viewpoint of the user.

m
It does the jobb
michelguitar 15.06.2019
I've had it for about a year now, and while I'd prefer a more solid and heavier one I must admit that I'm satisfied, for the price it's ecellent. It does the jobb, I will surely buy it again If I'd need another one. Only thing that didn't really hold was the small plaque with the brand's name on it...but who cares....still I've put it back with double-side tape....everything else still hold and perform as it should after a year. Worth the price and recomended!

b
Great desk for the price
bror31 27.08.2019
Thedesk looks exactly the same as in pictures, very tidy and clean. Very easy to mount, i mounted by myself in less than 30 minutes, instructions are clear and handy. I rated 3 stars on quality but not because of it materials but how it feels one fulyl assambled, wich is not 100 % solid, it shakes if you move it rough, but on a daily use situation you'll never do that, so it doesnt affects the functionality.

Q
Great all-in-one solution
Quimmy 24.03.2017
I use this desk in a home studio and it?s perfectly shaped for my needs. Plenty of room on the top shelf for an iMac/large screen. I have a 27" iMac on there and there?s plenty of room each side between the screen and the monitor stands.

There?s enough rack space for a basic outboard setup.

Relatively easy to assemble, and super heavy duty. It looks really good considering it?s all MDF!
