Es fällt sicherlich nicht ganz leicht, als Nicht-Xylophon-Spieler eine Bewertung zu schreiben. Wir haben dieses Xylophon unserer jüngsten Tochter zu Weihnachten geschenkt. Schon beim Auspacken wurde der Unterschied zu den Spielzeug- Xylophonen deutlich:
Ein stabiler Holzkorpus in den die Holz-Klangplatten eingelegt und von Metallstiften geführt werden. Auflage ist ein umlaufendes Band mit elastischer Seele. Die Filzschlägel wirken solide und ausgewogen. Zusätzlich sind zwei Fis-Platten und eine Bes-Platte beigelegt. Damit sind dann die Tonleitern C-Dur, G-Dur und F-Dur abgedeckt.
Der Klang ist wunderbar voll, klar und laut. Lediglich die beiden höchsten Platten (G und A) entfalten sich nicht richtig, wobei ich nicht weiß, ob das bei der geringen Größe der Platten überhaupt möglich ist.
Es ist ein wirklich tolles Xylophon, und ausnahmslos jeder Besuch fühlt sich versucht, scheu wenigstens ein paar Töne auszuprobieren. Es ist, die Xylophon-Spieler mögen mich vierteilen, ein richtiges Instrument, und dabei so solide, dass es auch dem Temperament einer 3-jährigen klaglos widersteht.
