Allem voran: hier kriegt man für sein Geld wirklich nicht wenig!
Ich wollte mich mit dem Kauf des Real Books ein wenig mehr den Jazz-Standards widmen, da ich mir gerne diese Art von Musik anhöre und immer Lust bekomme, die Stücke einmal selbst zu spielen. Ihr wisst ja wie sowas ist :).

Positiv aufgefallen ist mir, dass die Noten gut lesbar gedruckt sind und dass sich die Arrangeure sehr an den ursprünglichen Fassungen der Stücke orientiert haben. Das Buch lässt sich auch wunderbar als bloße Orientierungshilfe, um die Stücke ganz nach eigenem Geschmack zu spielen, einsetzten. Zugegebenermaßen kannte ich nur einen Bruchteil der Titel, aber ich denke hier kann jeder seinen musikalischen Horizont noch etwas erweitern. Wem irgendwann dann doch mal langweilig wird, kann sich noch zugehörige Playalongs oder die nächste Ausgabe zulegen. Es gibt viel zu tun ;).

Das einzige Sache, die ich zu bemängeln habe, ist die Spiralbindung. Sie ist meiner Meinung nach zu eng gehalten, was das (vor allem einhändige) Umblättern manchmal zur Qual macht.

Für Leute, die sich mal etwas mehr mit Jazz Standards auseinandersetzten möchten: Kaufempfehlung! :)

Super Buch für Fotgeschrittene

Ich finde, dass es ein tolles Buch ist. Für nur 30 Euro kriegt man 400 Jazz Standarts, die man durch die Akkorde die über den Takten stehen, auch direkt mit einer Band spielen kann. Für Fortgeschrittene die sich ein bisschen mit Jazz
auskennen, ist das ein super Buch. Das einzige Problem ist, dass die Seiten sich nicht so leicht umblättern lassen, schon garnicht mit nur einer Hand.
Versand lief natürlich komplett ohne Probleme, Thomann halt.
Ich kann das Buch jedem weiterempfehlen der sich für Jazz interessiert und Jazz auch sehr gerne spielt.

Más barato que ir a la fotocopistería

Los tonos de las canciones, no siempre son los que aparecen en el típico Real Book. Buena legibilidad, ayuda a sentirse más seguro con el solfeo. Más fiel a las composiciones que el Real Book típico, muchos errores corregidos.
Tapa de cartón pelado, corte de las hojas un poco irregular.
La selección de temas es correcta, pero faltan muchos de los grandes clásicos, y sobran algunos grandes desconocidos.

Un año después, (edito) me parece una compra estupenda, lo uso mucho. ¡Y el precio es menor que imprimirse uno pirata!
