OK for bedroom practice, nothing else
The amp has a decent clean sound but a horrible crunch channel. It's not so bad on the speaker but through headphones it's really nasty. On the plus side the amp is pretty light yet solidly built. I mainly use it with another small amp so my sister and I can practice together.

I wasn't quite satisfied with this, the sound is quite muddy and didnt like the sound. However its very cheap and therefore quite ok as a first amp, which was the case when i bought this. I cant recommend this amp, but it is cheap for an 40w amp. As a beginner player you should really consider spending more money on amp than getting this sucky amp. The bad sound of this thing can turn you down and so you may quit playing quitar because of that. Maybe if you would get few pedals to go with this one, you could maybe make the sound a little better. But yea as a conclusion, buy a bit better one, if you want to have a nice sound when you play :)

Loud hiss and heavy
Harley Benton makes much better amps - I like the CG line in particular. This one, which I got bundled with a starter guitar for my daughter, is hissy, large and heavy. The feature set is nice but it just doesn't sound very good so it never gets used. I gave her one of my CG-10's and it's a much better amp.
