Feedback? What feedback?
Purchased principally to amplify a mandolin ? with the aid of a preamp, this works well. The 'putty' provided is less than stellar, however, so be prepared to accommodate a few duct tape marks on your instrument. This aside, for the price these are quite incredible in terms of sound quality. Interesting results when combined with a microphone when recording acoustic guitar also. This is about the extent of this tranducer's range, though ? don't bother trying to amplify a double bass with these. There are better tools for that particular job.

Easy to fit
Bought this as a try out for the first Cigar Box guitar that I made. Initially I was so pleased that such a simple thing would work that I was really pleased with it but as time went on I was a disappointed.
It definitely needs a preamp if you are going to play with other musicians and after a while the velcro holding the jack in place gets weak. If you just want to strum around at home without disturbing the neighbours too much then one of these will do the job for you.
