Amazing power unit
Raumwalross 17.12.2019
It does it's job. It handles it's full load really well, no hiss, no loss of power, no interference. Everything is good.

My main thing is it's build quality. Mine has been beaten, fell, but the main thing — it has been drowned in boiling hot water. I had a flood in my apartment with hot water completely covering floor, and of course my pedalboard was like a surfing board there for several hours. The power supply was tied to the bottom of the board, and connected to power.

Not only did this thing protected all of my pedals — it survived that. After the place dried up I was surprised beyond belief when I plugged it back in and it worked like a charm.

Considering it's price and built quality it's a stellar product.

Fantastic value for money
Mike.e 18.06.2020
Pretty solid construction and a 13A UK power cable was automatically added my order at no extra charge (thankyou!) It's now powering 6 low draw guitar pedals and a Line 6 DL4 via the 12V AC outlet with the included red power lead (extra bonus!) I would definitely recommend and give 6 stars if I could

A Beast of a PSU

This power supply weight a whopping one kg and oozes quality in the build quality stakes, the blue metal casing feels solid and durable and fits well into the power supply slot in the bottom of my Palmer Pedalbay 60.

At the moment I have seven nine volt effects running from the power supply, all seem to be functioning correctly and with NO unwanted noise or interference from the power supply.

Also impressive is the number of cables supplied with the unit, eight black cables for regular Boss type pedal, two coloured Boss type cables, presumably for the twelve volt outputs, a cable to supply power to a mini jack socket and three polarity reversal cables.

Given the quality and price, why would you spend up to ten time more for a similar product? Usual Thomann levels of service and four day delivery to the UK.

Have this for a few yrs now.
I also have an isolated one but in a guitar amp set up I can't single out any excessive noise generated by the HB unit with multiple pedals. Good value unit and up to the job.

Why pay if you can get Harley Benton stuff.

I would call it PowerTank not PowerPlant - it is surprisingly very well built, almost like tank. Second power supply that I have in my hands from Harley Benton brand and it is same as Junior model - looks very solid. It is also very accurate and small which makes it affordable to use with almost all pedalboards both beneath and underneath pedal surface.

Such small box has 8 outputs by 9V each and you can power such pedals like fuzz, distortion and compressors without worries that they could enhance additional noises. 12V output comes handy for pedals that need more voltage for their headroom. There is also one AC output. Overall such set provides enough power outputs for more than middle sized pedalboard. All necessary power patch cables are also included.
It has main power cable that is possible to unplug and replace with longer one. Connector is pretty much standard. Separate power switch is also added so it prevents supply from jumping voltages during switching on/off. Unfortunately there are no switch between 220/110 Voltages but it is no worries if you are located in European region. Power indicator LED on front panel maybe not the brightest one but you can easily see when it is on.

To sum up I can say that there are almost no difference between power supplies under maybe 150 EUR - they all are almost equally made so the affect they do on sound. And if there are no difference, why pay more if you can get some Harley Benton stuff.

Serious bang for the buck. This is as good a power supply as you'll ever need.

Considering buying two or three more to expand the amount of pedals I'm using such is how happy I am with the product.

This power supply from Harley Benton is durable, it's easily hidden, it's not too bulky, and it caters for everything.

Sadly, some pedal companies are a bit persnickety on what supply you use and I can't get this to work with Line 6 pedals, but you can't win 'em all.

However, every other pedal I have works perfectly with this from Boss, to Ibanez, to Dunlop, to Behringer, to Joyo, to custom made pedals. I just can't fault this piece of equipment.

It's one of those things, people don't like to buy cheap brands or knock-offs, but Harley Benton and indeed the good folks at Thomann have outdone themselves with this great bit of gear.

Great and simple
JCBurnett 13.11.2017
I used to be the 9V battery guy for a decade believing that the battery adds some sort of magical mystical vintage mojo to the sound. I was wrong. One day I decided to stop spending ridiculous amounts of money for 9V batteries and it was the right decision.

Build quality, flexibility of use are perfect. The cables are nice and soft. The whole product feels high quality and I think it is ... plus for an unbeatable price! If you are tired of batteries like I was, this is the next step, even if you will upgrade to a more expensive one later down the line.

The sound is as good as with batteries. I don't think it's noisy or makes some pedals hissy. I have an OD pedal which has been always hissy even with the 9v battery.

In my opinion and experience I think this is a great product. You can't go wrong with it especially as your 1st psu. My recommendation is to use less pedals but higher quality.
