Excellent guitar, with a few QC details to improve
JaiMinho 06.10.2026
I am extremely impressed with this guitar. The overall quality is exceptional for its price range, and the flamed maple on the neck and fingerboard is absolutely stunning. The Vega Trem VT1 Ultratrem is also a fantastic feature at this price point.

I own several guitars from other brands, including a MIM Charvel San Dimas in the same general style and at roughly twice the price, and this Harley Benton compares remarkably well. In some respects, I would even say the Harley Benton shows better attention to detail.

Unfortunately, mine arrived with three small cosmetic/QC imperfections: a minor blemish on the front edge of the headstock, a small deformation in the finish around one of the neck mounting washers, and an incorrectly cut first-string slot in the nut. The latter is more significant, as the string tends to sit too far inward, resulting in incorrect string spacing and potentially requiring professional correction.

These issues are disappointing, but they do not change my overall impression: this is an outstanding instrument for the money. With slightly tighter quality control on these details, it would be an exceptional product.

Overall: highly recommended.

Endlich die perfekte St Modern
thomannkunde1 12.10.2026
