This little guy changed my guitar, the amp colour, and help a lot in mixes only with 3 knobs, and one switch.
Totally changed my fuzz pedals as well, now they're articulated if you want.

One of the best EQ/Boost pedal ever! I tried so many boost boutique and famous pedals and no one of them sound like this one. Where all boost tends to get compression to sound as side effect (which may be it is a good feature but not for me), this one leaves the sound dynamic boosting the volume with the great opportunity to cut the mid frequencies which cut dull sound and enrich the original sound of guitar. My fender american v neck strat never sounds so good and crystal both in clean and distorted sound! It could be improved the quality of box which it is a little bit plastic and thin but it is not a huge problem once fixed on pedalborad. Highy recommended!

Obwohl ich nie ein Fan von Equalizern war hat mich das Video von JHS bei Youtube neugierig gemacht.

Man kann sich eine Mittenfrequenz aussuchen und diese gezielt anheben oder absenken. Das bietet ungeahnte Möglichkeiten.
Er kann zum Beispiel einem zu schrill klingenden Amp die Schärfe nehmen oder im FX Loop als Solo booster genutzt werden.
Vor einem Amp kann er eventuelle Schwächen im Sound einer Gitarre ausbügeln und diesen insgesamt verschönern. Außerdem kann er genau wie ein Tubescreamer zum boosten vor einer Zerre genutzt werden um den Sound tighter zu machen.

Auch für Bassisten ist das Teil sehr interessant. Man kann damit schön die tiefen Mitten anheben um einen rockigeren Sound zu erhalten. Oder man senkt die Mitten ab und dreht das Volume auf für einen fetten Slap Sound.

Hier ist sicherlich für jeden was dabei und ich würde ihn jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Haunting mids je skvělý parametrický ekvalizér. Vnitřnosti schovány v pevné kovové krabičce. Žádné lupnutí při sepnutí pedálu. Je dobře zpracovaný.

Zvukový projev je vyrovnaný, dá se použít i jako booster nebo limiter. Projev by mohl být trošku výraznější, ale bohatě mi vystačí na můj účel. Potřeboval jsem trošku zvýraznit vyšší středy. Nemá takové možnosti jako třeba ekvalizér od firmy Boss, ovšem pokud nejste uplně zběhlí v ekvalizérech, s tímto pedálem se nemusíte bát, že byste něco pokazili. Je velmi jednoduchý. Zachovává dynamiku hraní a při zvýraznění frekvencí neupozaďuje ostatní frekvence. Při vytavení trochu kreslí. Skvělý na nabuzení zkresleného zvuku.

Nevýhodou je, že přesně nevíte, které frekvence zrovna vybuzujete, kdyby byl Sweep knob lépe popsán, bylo by to snažší, takhle hledáte zvuk pouze podle ucha. Také cena se mi zdá lehce přemrštěná. O tolik lepší než Boss asi není. Boss je klasika, hodně se tomuto pedálu přiblížil, ale jeho nevýhodou je, že signál hodně komprimuje a je lehce hlučnější, ale nic zásadního. Boss také zachovává původní signál a nekreslí.

Závěrem bych JHS velmi doporučil. Jsem spokojený s jeho vlastnostmi. Pro můj způsob použití se hodí více než Boss, ovšem cena je bohužel trochu vyšší.
