Mein einziger Fretless. Man bekommt viel Bass fürs Geld: ein schönes, hochwertig aussehendes Instrument das gut verarbeitet ist und durch gute Bespielbarkeit glänzt. Aber: Der Sire hat viel zu viel Elektronik, die ich nicht nutze. Die Potis sind aus Plastik und verstellen sich leicht. Hier ist ein Unterschied zu hochwertigeren Instrumenten. Auch klingt mir der Bass zu glatt, mir fehlt der singende Fretless Ton. Vor Jahren hatte ich schon einmal einen Mexico Fretless - und der war mir lieber. Ich möchte nichts schlecht machen. Für das Geld sicherlich eine gute Alternative aber für meinen Geschmack nicht die beste.

Ich kann sagen, dass das Instrument im Vergleich zu seinem Preis viel mehr bietet, was auch für Verarbeitung und Klang eindeutig gilt. Ich empfehle dringend, das Instrument auszuprobieren. Es ist mir ganz eingefallen. Es ist möglich, dass mein Geschmack der gleiche ist wie bei der anderer Bassisten. Das ist mein zweiter Fretless-Bass, der erste ist ein Harley Benton 5-String Active Fretless, der insgesamt weit hinterherhinkt.

Ottimo basso, tastiera strepitosa

Uno strumento versatile con una tastiera eccellente, ottimo trattamento della stessa che consente, specie con corde lisce, toni dal simil contrabbasso ai riff ska delle origini od alle incredibili ripetizioni miagolanti stile Japan. Ottima elettronica J, P e un body leggero dallo shape piacevole e comodo. Uno strumento di altissimo livello ad un prezzo sorprendente.
