I bought this bass a couple of months ago. After said months of daily use (and abuse) and playing live I can say that this is a phenomenal bass: the neck is comfortable and solid, the pickup sounds good both in passive mode and in active mode. The only thing that you might need to be aware off is the weight, but still overall a fantastic bass.
