Good amp for the money but i am not satisfied
Bluesmachine 13.10.2021
The power reduction is useless. No sound or volume difference at all.5 watts or 50 sounds exactly the same.I thought it was damaged.I send the amp back to Thomann and they said the amp is ok .Today i took it back.Same thing. Not even a small difference in sound or volume. Also the amp is very trembly like all Marshalls and i found it a little bit harsh sounding. The amp is loud but not so much as they say.i feel like something is missing to be alive. For example my Orange OR15 is more powerfull and alive. If you want to achieve the plexi thing its ok.When i first receive the amp i send to Thomann a video with the attenuator problem and they agreed to send it back. After that they did not accept that there is no power difference even between 5 and 50 watts. They even didnt wanted to listen to my problem.Very rude. They told me take the amp or the money back.Only one woman from the customer service was like that. The others was ok.I see many demo videos of the amp in youtube and the power scalling is working.I dont know what is going on with mine.I tried another origin 50 and the power scaling switch works corectly.I am very disappointed

Marshall Quality, Shame About The Sound
Stephen6002 23.05.2020
I bought this in an attempt to split the weight of my guitar rig, currently a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe IV. Using an A/B switch, it was easy to compare the two. Sadly, the Marshall lacked the lovely full sound of the Fender. I even tried connecting the speaker of the Fender to the Marshall and vice versa. It improved the Marshall marginally, but the Fender still sounded better, even through the separate cabinet that I was using for the Marshall.
With tone settings Bass:10 Middle:10 Treble:0 Presence:0 the Marshall sound still lacked body and depth. Increasing Treble or Presence just made it shrill. Using the Tilt control, the sound just went from woolly to ear-piercingly shrill with nothing in between that I liked. Engaging the gain boost helped a bit if you have it on all the time, you have no extra boost left for soloing.
Disappointed!
