This complements the traditional splash of the same size. After comparing sound samples, both here and on the Meinl website, I realised that this had a higher pitch than the traditional version. Physically it has the same profile, but the metal is slightly thinner, with the oxide coating left on under the protective lacquer. It looks quite a different colour to any on-line illustrations when you actually see it!

Das Splash ist sehr gut verarbeitet und ist ein echter Hingucker. Der Sound ist kurz und spritzig und es ist universal einsetzbar! Mein Problem bei Splash Becken ist immer, dass sie sehr dünn sind und man dem entsprechend gut drauf aufpassen muss das sie nicht kaputt gehen! Dieses Splash ist von der Ausführung her etwas dicker und viel Belastbarer!
